Strategic supplementation with agro-industrial residues represents a sustainable alternative for livestock feeding. This study evaluated the ensiling process of Ataulfo mango residues (Mangifera indica L.) at three fruit maturity stages supplemented with poultry manure. A total of 648 kg of mango residues were collected and classified according to pulp firmness. Physicochemical analyses were performed during a 90-day fermentation period. Silages supplemented with poultry manure maintained stable pH values during the first 30 days of fermentation, reflecting favorable preservation conditions and limited ammonia formation (p < 0.0001). Fermentation temperatures averaged 27.3 °C, promoting lactic acid bacteria activity and organic acid production while reducing the risk of undesirable microbial growth. Under these conditions, lactic acid concentrations reached 2.8% (p < 0.0001). Moisture contents remained within the recommended range for quality silage. Treatments containing poultry manure showed higher moisture levels than controls, remaining stable between days 15 and 25. By day 30, moisture increased in control treatments, resulting in significant differences among treatments (p < 0.0015) and over time (p < 0.0001). Poultry manure supplementation also increased total nitrogen concentration, enhancing the nutritional value of the silage. Nitrogen levels in treatments containing 5% and 10% poultry manure were comparable to those reported for similar silage systems. The results demonstrate that Ataulfo mango residue silage supplemented with 5%, 10%, or 15% poultry manure achieved stable fermentation after 30 days and developed suitable physicochemical characteristics for ruminant nutrition and sustainable livestock production.
